3. Failed Condensate Pump

4. Improper Flue Vent Pitch or Condensation in the Flue

5. Dirty or Frozen Evaporator Coil (Thaw Leak) — Why a Furnace Leaking Water When AC Is Off Still Happens
Even with the air conditioner off, a dirty evaporator coil can retain ice from a previous cooling cycle; as that ice melts, water drips down through the furnace cabinet. A heavily soiled coil also restricts airflow enough to cause icing even during brief cooling operation.

6. Humidifier Water Leak
Many furnaces have a whole-house humidifier mounted directly on the supply plenum; if its solenoid valve, water supply line, or internal float fails, it can drip water that appears to come from the furnace itself.
